We opened for business in November 2001 as primarily a used bookstore. Our shelves held about 25,000 books opening day. Since that day we have expanded twice. Now there are over 100,000 books on our shelves and a retail space of 8,000 square feet.

We have a very large selection of books, both new and used. We
order 300 to 500 New Release titles each month so that we always
have the most recent titles available when you want them. Our shelves are stocked with as many titles by popular authors as they can hold. We carry both fiction and non-fiction titles. People often comment on how diverse our selection here is.

You don’t need to be a member of a club or buy a special card to save money at the Book Rack. We price all of our new books at 15% off of the retail price, so you will never pay full price for a book in our store.
 
We also buy overstock and remainder books, which are still new books that have been returned to the publisher because to many may have been ordered. These overstock books we sell at 40% off of the retail price.

People also trade in their used books for store credit.
There are around 2,000 used books traded in each week. Chances are that you will find a bargain on something you were looking for.
